Mother-Of-Three Boosts Self Esteem With Breast Surgery
Tuesday 13 June 2017
A mother-of-three has given herself a huge boost by undergoing cosmetic breast surgery with a top Rowley Hall Hospital surgeon. Sarah feels the breast augmentation procedure has enhanced her appearance and given her a much better outlook on life generally.
She decided to go ahead with the operation after meeting consultant Philip Brackley – an expert in a range of cosmetic surgeries and skin treatments. Sarah felt after having three children and breast feeding, her breasts had lost their shape. She researched into cosmetic procedures and was open and honest with her family and friends about her plans for breast augmentation surgery.
Sarah attended an open event, held by Mr Brackley at Rowley Hall, and met with him one-to-one for a short introductory consultation. She was so impressed with what Mr Brackley had to say that she booked in for a full consultation with him at a later date. After talking through the pros and cons of the surgery, she was keen to proceed and met with Mr Brackley again for a further consultation.
She decided to go ahead with the surgery at Rowley Hall Hospital and had the procedure a few weeks later. Sarah, 38, said: “Since I’ve had children, my breasts had changed and lost their shape and I wasn’t happy with them. I had thought about doing something about them for a while and I looked into surgeons locally that performed breast augmentation surgery.
“I first met Mr Brackley at his Rowley Hall open event for an initial consultation and was impressed with him then, but when I met him for a further more in-depth consultation, I felt confident that he was the right surgeon for me. He talked through everything, including the positives and negatives of the surgery, and I was clear on where I stood with everything. I had the full backing from my family as well because they knew it was something I really wanted to have done.”
Mr Brackley specialises in a range of surgeries including breast operations (augmentation, reduction and uplift), blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), abdominoplasty surgery (tummy tucks) and also has a special interest in skin cancer management.
He has a regular clinic at Rowley Hall every Thursday morning and stages a number of Saturday open events during the year to highlight his surgeries where patients can benefit from short complimentary consultations with him.
Sarah admits she was nervous before she attended Rowley Hall for the procedure but also felt assured that she was in good hands. She said: “You are bound to feel a bit apprehensive before the surgery. I think that’s natural, but Mr Brackley and all the nurses and staff at the hospital made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived on the day of the operation.
“After the surgery I spent a night on the hospital ward and all the nurses were fantastic and looked after me so well when I was recovering. Now she is thrilled with the results of her breast surgery and Mr Brackley’s cosmetic surgery skills.
Sarah said: “It’s important that you choose a surgeon you can trust for this type of surgery and I definitely trust Mr Brackley.
“I’ve certainly not been disappointed. The results are far better than I expected and I am so pleased with the outcome and the way my breasts look. I now have much more self esteem which is great.
“Mr Brackley was friendly and approachable throughout the whole process and I am glad I chose him to perform my surgery at Rowley Hall. I would definitely recommend him to other people who are considering breast surgery and other cosmetic procedures because he is the ultimate professional.”
