Rowley Hall Hospital has welcomed a new pharmacist to its team.
Matthews Stibbs has joined the private hospital after previously working as a community pharmacist and branch manager in Staffordshire.
He will be combining his work at Rowley with his role as an academic pharmacist at Keele University, where he is a Teaching Fellow involved in educating student pharmacists.
Matthew will be providing pharmacist support throughout the hospital, with a particular focus on clinical audits, Making Every Contact Count (MECC) and Enhanced Recovery.
He will also be conducting medicines reconciliation with patients and working with the team to ensure our patients receive the best possible care.
Matthew said: “I’m delighted to become the Pharmacist for Rowley Hall Hospital and this is an exciting opportunity for me.
“I’m looking forward to working with all the team at the hospital and providing support wherever I can. It’s a lovely hospital and a new challenge.”.
Rowley Hall Hospital General Manager Lisa Powell said: “We are delighted to have Matthew on board with us and he will provide pharmacy support for the range of services we deliver.”
